Paul Pogba has been spotted training in Miami as the former Manchester United star looks to build fitness ahead of his return from a doping ban.
The 32-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Juventus in November following the conclusion of his doping case. Pogba's initial four-year ban was reduced to 18 months on appeal, clearing the way for his return to professional football.
During his stay in the United States, Pogba has been actively working on his fitness. Last weekend, the French midfielder attended a match between Los Angeles FC and Austin, fueling speculation about a potential move to MLS, where the transfer window remains open until April.
The World Cup winner has been engaging with fans during his time in Miami. In a video shared on his Instagram story, Pogba documented an interaction with supporters, including Manchester United and Barcelona fans. One particular fan challenged Pogba to hit the crossbar, which resulted in the fan having to do 50 pushups when the Frenchman successfully completed the challenge.
"So we're here in Miami, training, try to get fit as soon as possible, you already know the story," Pogba explained in the video. "I'm here and there's some fans around, United fans and Barcelona fans, big up to all of them. This gentleman (the Barcelona fan) tried to challenge me."
While Pogba's future remains uncertain, he has been linked with various clubs across Europe and the United States. The midfielder's focus appears to be on regaining his fitness "as soon as possible" as he looks to restart his career after the challenging period of his doping ban.
The former Manchester United star, who spent significant time at Old Trafford before returning to Juventus, now faces important decisions about the next chapter in his footballing journey.
